July 2025 | Development Approval Officially Granted

The Vision Becomes Reality: A major milestone has been reached for the Karratha community! The City of Karratha and the Regional Development Assessment Panel (DAP) have officially approved the development application for Gap Ridge Local. Spanning across Lots 8, 9, and 10 Madigan Road, this green light clears the path for a premium retail destination that will bring substantial economic growth, local jobs, and long-awaited retail variety to our region.


Late 2025 | Retail Giants Locked In: 83% of Centre Leased

Early 2026 | Key Construction Partner Announced

Breaking Ground with the Best: We have officially appointed our principal construction partner to bring the architectural blueprint of Gap Ridge Local to life. Chosen for their stellar track record in delivering heavy-duty, climate-resilient regional developments, our building team has fully mobilized on-site. Initial earthworks, civil site preparations, and underground servicing have officially commenced—laying the literal foundations for our massive 388-bay customer parking complex.


Mid 2026 | Construction Update: The Framework Rises

Progress You Can See: If you’ve driven past the Madigan Road intersection recently, you will have noticed a massive shift in the landscape! Civil works are successfully wrapped up, concrete slabs are poured, and structural steel framing is officially going vertical. Upcoming: Late 2026- Early 2027

Handover for Internal Fit-Outs expected from late 2026: The countdown is truly on. As the main structural building work draws to a close, the site will transition into the tenant fit-out phase. Our major retail partners will take possession of their brand-new, purpose-built showrooms to install custom internal layouts, stock shelves, and complete local staff hiring phases to ensure everything is perfect for launch day.
